Paris, tu me manques.
Images and video so often serve the present: something new to see, share, or sell. I wanted to use them to go back, to places I knew and experiences I lived, but can no longer return to as they were.
Could I reconstruct those moments? Give those memories an image again? Would that make them real? And how much of what feels real today is already shaped by the images we see?
I chose 2007, the year the first iPhone was released, as a point of return. A reminder of the world just before.
