Lighthouse
Throughout history, mankind has always been on a quest to find safety. The lighthouse, which has come to symbolize safe harbor, orientation and protection from the forces of nature, appears in this context to reassure us that we’ve “made it”. The tall, red-and-white structure corresponds with the archetypal image of a classic lighthouse – with bright colors visible during the day, and a light source at the top, illuminating the darkness. Modeled after the legendary X on the treasure map, the lighthouse promises to provide those very things man is constantly searching for – a sense of security and consolation, a moment of serenity.
